Workplace Education and Training
CMHA Grey Bruce Workplace Education partners with employers and organizations to build mentally healthy workplaces through practical training that increases mental health awareness, reduces stigma, strengthens confidence, and helps create psychologically healthy, supportive environments where employees and organizations can thrive.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training gives you the confidence, knowledge and practical tools to intervene when it matters most. While ASIST is the industry standard training for mental health professionals, this training is equally suitable for anyone – teachers, parents, volunteers, caregivers, and community members.
SafeTALK
SafeTALK gives you the practical skills to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide and the confidence to take action by connecting them to safety. You don’t need prior experience or a special background – just a willingness to help and a few hours of your time.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid Canada gives people the skills to provide early help that is so important in recovery. Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of mental health problems and where and how to get help in Grey and Bruce.
Talk Today
Talk Today is a comprehensive mental health program aimed at promoting and spreading awareness of mental health for young athletes.
Let’s Talk
Multi-visit program designed to help intermediate age youth develop and maintain good mental health, while decreasing stigma surrounding mental illness and its treatment.
FAN Club
The Grey Bruce Friends and Neighbours (FAN) Club program is a children’s mental health awareness program using child-sized hand and rod puppets to discuss social issues affecting them.
