Widows Sons Grey Bruce Chapter Brings Holiday Cheer to G&B House
Dec 13, 2024
For the past seven years, the Widows Sons MRA Grey Bruce Chapter has made a heartfelt commitment to supporting the men at G&B House during the holiday season. Each year, members of the chapter come together to assemble and deliver Christmas presents, spreading joy to those in recovery.
This year, representatives Brad Burnett and Tim Skippen from the Widows Sons visited G&B House, where they were warmly welcomed by the residents. The group photo captured the spirit of giving, showing Brad and Tim surrounded by G&B House Coordinator Paul Cowan and some of the men receiving this year’s gifts.
G&B House, a vital resource in the Grey Bruce community, offers residential treatment and supportive housing for men recovering from severe addiction issues. Its abstinence-based program provides a safe, substance-free environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives and achieving long-term recovery. Initiatives like those of the Widows Sons not only provide holiday cheer but also reinforce the message that the community supports these men in their recovery journey.
The Widows Sons MRA Grey Bruce Chapter exemplifies the power of community and generosity. Their ongoing support for G&B House over the past seven years shows their commitment to making a difference.
