Knights of Columbus Make Final Radio Bingo Donation to CMHA Grey Bruce, Surpassing $114,000 in Total Support
Apr 29, 2026
Owen Sound, ON – April 2026 – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Grey Bruce is proud to recognize the incredible generosity of the Knights of Columbus and the long running 560 CFOS Radio Bingo, as the program concludes its chapter under their leadership.
CMHA Grey Bruce has received a final donation of $12,240, along with an additional $2,000 generously contributed by local ticket vendors, who chose to give back the portion they would normally receive from sales. This brings the total final contribution to $14,240.
Since November 2021, Radio Bingo has raised more than $114,000 in support of CMHA Grey Bruce programs. This remarkable community effort has played a vital role in funding Youth Mental Health Awareness programming across Grey and Bruce counties.
This support reflects the strength of community driven fundraising and the impact that can be achieved when people come together to support mental health and well-being.
The impact of Radio Bingo extended beyond CMHA Grey Bruce. Proceeds also supported several local organizations, including the Owen Sound Special Olympics, Chapman House, Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre, and The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce.
While this marks the end of Radio Bingo under the Knights of Columbus, the program will continue under new leadership with United Way Bruce Grey, ensuring that this important community fundraiser lives on.
CMHA Grey Bruce extends heartfelt thanks to the Knights of Columbus, Bayshore Broadcasting, local vendors, volunteers, and everyone who purchased a bingo card over the years. Their collective support has made a lasting difference in the lives of many across Grey and Bruce.
