Knights of Columbus Surpass Major Milestone with $20,000 Donation to CMHA Grey Bruce
May 6, 2025
Owen Sound, ON – May 6, 2025 – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Grey Bruce is once again feeling the incredible support of the Knights of Columbus and 560 CFOS Radio Bingo, having just received a generous $20,000 donation in support of local mental health programs. This latest contribution pushes the total raised for CMHA Grey Bruce through Radio Bingo over the astonishing $100,000.
This ongoing support has been nothing short of extraordinary. What began as a community support fundraising initiative in November 2021 has grown into a meaningful and consistent source of funding for vital Youth Awareness programs offered throughout Grey and Bruce Counties.
“The Knights of Columbus are amazing,” said Don Vail, Communications & Funding Manager at CMHA Grey Bruce. “All of our Youth Mental Health Awareness programs are entirely community funded, and they are only possible because of generous donors and supporters like the Knights. Their ongoing support is helping us reach more young people with the education and resources they need. We’re so thankful for everything they’ve done.”
Each week, Radio Bingo airs Wednesdays after the 2 p.m. news on 560 CFOS, with bingo cards available at numerous local vendors.
The proceeds from Radio Bingo support several organizations doing important work in the community, including:
- CMHA Grey Bruce
- Owen Sound Special Olympics
- Chapman House
- Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre
- The Women’s Centre (Youth Anti-Human Trafficking and Programming)
