Dec 19, 2024
Owen Sound, ON – December 18, 2024 – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Grey Bruce extends heartfelt gratitude to the Knights of Columbus, 560 CFOS, and the local vendors who sell bingo tickets for their incredible support through the Knights of Columbus Radio Bingo. This cherished community initiative continues to make a profound impact.
CMHA Grey Bruce received a remarkable $22,400 in support of our Youth Awareness programs. This includes $20,000 from the proceeds of Radio Bingo and an additional $2,400 generously donated back by the vendors who distribute bingo tickets across Grey Bruce.
Youth Awareness programs at CMHA Grey Bruce are 100% publicly funded, meaning they rely entirely on donations like these to continue empowering and educating young people about mental health. The generosity of the Knights of Columbus, the support of 560 CFOS, and the contributions of local vendors and bingo players are vital to the success of these programs.
Knights of Columbus Radio Bingo takes place every Wednesday after the 2 p.m. news on 560 CFOS. Bingo cards are sold at various locations throughout Grey Bruce, offering a fun way for community members to support important local causes. Proceeds benefit not only CMHA Grey Bruce but also other valuable organizations, including:
