Artisan’s Holiday Show & Sale Raises $4,020 for CMHA Grey Bruce
Dec 2, 2024
Despite stormy weather and challenging travel conditions across Grey Bruce, the community’s generosity and resilience shone brightly at this year’s Artisans Holiday Show & Sale, raising an impressive $4,020 to support youth and adult mental health awareness and education programs delivered by CMHA Grey Bruce.
The event brought people together to celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the power of giving. Attendees not only braved the weather to attend but also donated well beyond the $2 admission fee, demonstrating their commitment to supporting mental health initiatives in the region.
Don Vail, Communications and Funding Manager at CMHA Grey Bruce, who had the opportunity to work the door, shared his admiration for the event:
“It was truly impressive to see the incredible quality of work brought by the artisans and how smoothly the event was run. The organizers of this show deserve immense credit for making it such a standout experience year after year.”
The creativity and dedication of the artisans played a vital role in making the show magical. Their unique and high-quality creations transformed the Bayshore Community Centre into a hub of holiday spirit.
Funds raised at the event will go a long way in supporting CMHA Grey Bruce’s programs, which help build awareness, and hope for individuals in the community.
CMHA Grey Bruce extends heartfelt thanks to the organizers, facilitators, artisans, and every attendee who contributed to this year’s success. We are already looking forward to partnering with the Artisans Holiday Show & Sale again next year to continue this tradition of creativity, community, and compassion.
