Guardian Network Training for Grey County
Grey Ag Services is hosting a Guardian Network training for agricultural businesses and community members of Grey County! The Guardian Network is a community of passionate mental health advocates that supports Ontario’s farming community. The Guardian Network includes a one-day suicide prevention training and ongoing peer connection and continuous learning for trained Guardians. The role of a Guardian is to reduce mental health stigma in agricultural communities by fostering mental health conversations with farmers who may be in distress and connect individuals with appropriate mental health and crisis resources.
We invite you to join us in creating a supportive agricultural community here at home and register for our upcoming Guardian Network training, being offered on November 27th at 206 Toronto St. S, Markdale, Ontario. The training is in person and will run from 9 am to 4 pm, lunch will be provided. This training is open to anyone over the age of 18 who have direct relationships with the farming community.
