- Recognize signs that a person may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health or substance use crisis
- Initiate conversations that encourage a person to talk about a mental health or substance use problem
- Discuss professional and other supports that could help with recovery to improved mental well-being
- Assist in a mental health or substance use crisis situation
- Check in with one’s own mental well-being and take action as needed
This training is delivered over 3 modules.
Module 1 is a 1.5 to 2 hour self-directed online learning that is required to be completed prior to the in person day of December 8th.
Module 2 and 3 will be delivered in person from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Registration is $150 and includes a manual, certificate, coffee and light refreshments. Participants are asked to bring their lunch.
