Methadone Maintenance Treatment

This program assists individuals prescribed opiate replacement therapies such as Methadone and Suboxone. We often work closely with doctors, the hospital Rapid Access Clinic, pharmacies and the methadone clinic.

Methadone Maintenance Support is offered by New Directions for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Problems.

We serve individuals ages 20 and older who are receiving methadone or other replacement therapies via the Ontario Addiction Treatment Centre or as prescribed by a qualified physician.

This program offers assessment, counselling, advocacy and referral. We also offer:

• Weekly group education and information sessions in Owen Sound
• Support for family members
• Presentations and resources
